How A Virtual 10K Works

Choose You Route

  • You can run wherever you wish – providing it is safe and lawful.

  • The route can consist of loops, an out and back or a point-to-point – all you have to do is make sure that when you finish you have covered 10K.

  • Make sure you read through our Health & Safety advice when planning your run.

Run Alone or Together

Record Your Run

  • You need to be able to record your run. You may already have a preferred way of doing this – if so you just need to check that you can provide us with a time.

  • There are a number of smartphone free apps that you can use to record a run – here are a few of the most popular:

Run – anytime between 12:00 on Sunday 11th July and 12:00 on Sunday 18th July 2021.

  • We’d love you to take a photo before you start (it’s not compulsory).

  • Remember to start your watch or app.

  • Stay safe (follow the Health and Safety Guidance)

  • Enjoy your run.

  • Remember to stop you watch or app when you finish.

  • We’d love you to take a photo now you’ve finished (again, not compulsory).
